Emerging Skills Training (Delivering a skilled workforce for future UK manufacturing )

We are approved providers of the Emerging Skills Project, led by the High Value Manufacturing Catapult and funded by the Department of Education, and contributed to the design and development of the units.

The 50+ courses range from  one to three day units covering electrification, digitisation, additive manufacture and advanced materials. They consist of modular, stand alone units at Level 2,3,4 & 5, but can also contribute to a bespoke longer programme of learning and qualification designed to meet your individual business’ requirements.

We offer Level 2 – 5 Rapid upskilling, reskilling and new skilling in:-

Industrial digitalisation (automation, robotics, smart manufacturing, machine learning, connected systems, data analysis, Industry 4.0 and Factory of the Future, Cyber Security)

Electrification ( Isolation/lockout and re-energising of EVs, Electrical Engineering Fundamentals for EVs, Quality checks, Safety, Legislation and Standards, Battery Fundamentals, Battery Manufacturing, High Voltage Battery and Systems Assembly, Design Diagnostics, EV Prototype Build, Quality Management and Testing

Additive manufacturing ( Computer aided design, powder handling, manufacture, health & safety, post processing.
