The MIAH centre will focus on key industry sectors identified by the Driving the Electric Revolution and Faraday Battery challenge, including all levels of their supply chains from niche suppliers to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), underpinned by AI, autonomous and data/cyber security technologies. These sectors include:

• Aerospace.
• Smart mobility – ( Driverless vehicles with cyber resilience capabilities and user-centric applications for logistics and distribution clients such as Ocado/Amazon , or airports).
• Battery and energy storage for cars, aircraft, consumer electronics, district or grid storage, and recycling. Leverages GM expertise in Hydrogen Fuel cells, Graphene and Advanced Materials
• Industrial (such as manufacturing, packaging, production equipment, robots or medical devices).
